Finance and Regulatory Reporting Officer (M/F)

Description

As a part of the COO division, you will joint the Finance and Reporting department of Union Bancaire Privée (Europe) S.A. and will report to the head of the desk. The Finance & Reporting department is in charge that all accountabilities, invoices, and reportings comply with regulations and UBP internal rules.

Mission

Ensure that all reportings of the perimeter are correctly formalized on duly time in accordance with the internal procedures and in compliance with financial laws and regulations.

Challenges

Dealing with reporting deadlines ensuring a high level of quality on reports to be produced.

Main responsibilities

Reporting:

  • Preparation and development of legal reporting (Finrep, Corep, LCR, Larex etc) to local authorities for Union Bancaire Privée (Europe) S.A. Luxembourg and its branches (daily / monthly / quarterly & annually)
  • Preparation of the Bank’s Short Form / Long Form
  • Preparation of ad hoc analysis’s, reports and specific surveys.
  • Develop and establish reconciliation and control of financial data and ratios.
  • Participate in the audit process with both external and internal audit
  • Manage responses to any requests from stakeholders (management, authorities, auditors etc)
  • Participate in various bookings and verifications in the finance department
  • Propose and implement new ways of working to improve productivity

Education & Experience

  • Master Degree in Finance & Accounting Management or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of general bank accounting as well as Lux and IFRS Gaap.
  • Excellent knowledge of banking regulatory reportings.
  • You have 5-7 years of proven experience in similar position.
  • Strong technology skills (Excel, Word, SQL) with problem solving and analytical skills.

Education

  • Education: Master Degree
  • Certification: Finance & Accounting Management or equivalent experience.
  • IT Tools: Strong technology skills (Excel, Word, SQL) with problem solving and analytical skills

Experience

  • Years of experience: 3-7 : intermediate
  • Experience required: Strong knowledge of general bank accounting as well as Lux and IFRS Gaap. Excellent knowledge of banking regulatory reportings.
  • Experience in private banking: Mandatory

Language

  • English: Fluent
  • French: Fluent
