IT Batch Engineering Team Lead - External Consultant 2024

Description

The Bank’s entire operations are managed by COO Division and are headed up by the Chief Operating Officer. The COO division comprises Operations, Finance, Information Management, Human Resources and Logistics. Mission

Within the IT department, the Batch Engineering team lead manages the CTRL-M scheduler specialists. Main activities of this team are: • Create / modify CTRL-M jobs • Maintain existing CTRL-M chains • Enhance the platform (infrastructure and application

Challenges

- Ability to adapt and understand a complex IT landscape - Demonstrated communication skills to interact with a large set of stakeholders - Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work - Ability to work under pressure

Main responsibilities

- Organize the activities of the five CTRL-M specialists and manage the team capacity

- Elaborate delivery lifecycle improvements

- Ensure platform maintenance and evolution

- Be able to challenge technical & functional solutions

- Industrialize delivery processes

- Communicate team progress and pro-actively raise the issues

- Lead the transformation initiatives of the team

- Perform budget monitoring

- Ensure Batch Engineering documentation updates

Education

  • Education: Engineer
  • Technical skills: perl, KSH scripting
  • IT Tools: Control M

Experience

  • Years of experience: 7-10 : senior
  • Experience in private banking: Optional

Language

  • French: Fluent
  • English: Advanced

Personal skills

  • Swiss resident: Mandatory

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
  • Rigorous and persistent
