Compliance Officer WM - 7 months temporary mission


Risks and Compliance is an independent division which monitors the Bank's activities to ensure they are fully in compliance with all relevant laws, rules and regulations while always keeping a close eye on client's interests. The division is involved in the management of all the Bank's operations, monitoring its activities to keep them within the defined risk framework, and participates in the approval process for new developments in products and services. It is dedicated to supporting our Bank business lines at the same time as protecting the Bank's interests and reputation.


The Financial Crime Unit aims to protect the Bank against money laundering and related reputational risk by ensuring a swift and effective detection of money laundering activity throughout various sources.


Ensure to handle all internal clarification handled in due time.

Main responsabilities

The scope of this role is very broad and encompasses a wide variety of tasks and responsabilities that will include the following:

Treatment of Order Request received from the Swiss Prosecutors, the Federal Tax Administration and MROS.

Analysis of the background of the relationship vs the Order Request,

Analysis of the transactional activities by assessing also the impact on internal transfers and links to other accounts,

Identify any Group exposure by launching Group searches,

Provide recommendation to Senior management and Bank's Committee.

Ensuring an appropriate Media Watch,

Perform investigations involving AML risks,

Establish memo to the Bank's Commitee,

Filing Suspicious Activity Report when appropriate.

Provide back-up on the administration of the Group AML Committee.


  • Education: Bachelor Degree
  • Certification: Law


  • Years of experience: 3-7 : intermediate
  • Experience in private banking: Mandatory


  • English: Advanced
  • French: Mother Tongue

Personal skills

  • Swiss resident: Mandatory

Capacity to work under pressure - Team spirit - Good communication skills - Excellent analytical skills - Discreet.
