Senior IT Project Manager - Portfolio Management System and Advisory - External Consultant - Until December 2020

Description

Group COO is a vast and key division of the Bank, headed up by the group Chief Operating Officer, covering several departments supporting the client facing teams. It strives to provide both in-house and external clients with a first-rate service to ensure our business operates efficiently and reliably. The division comprises Operations, Finance, Credit Structuring and Administration, Information Technology, Human Resources, General Services (real estate, travel and logistics), Security and Data Governance as well as Change Management & Controls. All department heads report into the group COO.

Mission

In the context of the COO IT Change unit, the role will be responsible to lead project portfolios for the Wealth Management business. Specific areas are the Portfolio Management System (PMS) and the Advisory domain.

Challenges

Manage cross functional projects next to several different stakeholders and involving multiples IT departments for execution.

Main responsabilities

As Senior IT Project Manager inside a complex organisation, the role will partner with the business and IT stakeholders to:

- Define clear scope
- Ensure stakeholders and sponsors involvement and commitment
- Identify and measure project risks, oversee the budgeting process and control project spend
- Identify and report project conflicts
- Plan and manage IT resources
- Ensure alignment with initial requirements and document scope changes; reassess needs and targets (resources, goal, stakeholders) when needed
- Assess and document project change requests
- Gather sign off from customers
- Deliver the technical solution respecting the bank’s software lifecycle
- Publish project reporting
- Build and maintain KPIs and KRIs
- Collect and formulate lessons learned among all stakeholders, ensure application for next projects

- Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Drive, leadership and positive attitude, stress resistant
- Planning and budget control
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- At ease with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Team player, resourceful and independent
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Temenos Triple'A Plus and/or WealthSuite is a plus 

Education

  • Education: Engineer

Experience

  • Years of experience: 7-10 : senior
  • Experience in private banking: Mandatory

Language

  • English: Fluent
  • French: Fluent

Personal skills

  • Swiss resident: Optional
