Learning & Development Officer - Temporary 7 months

Description

The Bank’s entire operations are managed by COO Division and are headed up by the Chief Operating Officer. It strives to provide both in-house and external clients with a first-rate service to ensure our business operates efficiently and at the best possible cost. The COO division comprises Operations, Finance, Information Management, Human Resources and Logistics. COO employees are committed to providing, with professionalism and enthusiasm, an efficient, proactive, high-quality service that meets the needs of clients within the context of the Bank’s overall strategy.

Mission

Working with the L&D team to help ensure that an appropriate framework and training solutions are in place which support UBP’s business objectives

Challenges

Working in a global fast-paced environment, covering multiple divisions and dealing with several requests simultaneously.

Main responsibilities

Support the organization of internal and external training courses (logistics for training courses, registration, preparation of materials etc…) and liaising with institutes, trainers & employees

Support the development of our e-learning platform offering

Maintain and develop the L&D intranet site to ensure value proposition is clearly presented to employees and aligned to corporate requirements

Act as coordinator for L&D communications, ensuring involvement of relevant stakeholders (e.g. Communications department)

Support the team with administrative and various audit requests

Prepare management reporting, updates and presentations as required by Group Head HR and Head of L&D

Education

  • Education: Bachelor Degree
  • IT Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Experience

  • Years of experience: 0-3 : beginner
  • Experience required: Professional experience in the L&D field
  • Experience in private banking: Optional

Language

  • English: Fluent
  • French: Fluent

Personal skills

  • Swiss resident: Optional

Communicates openly and effectively Team player attitude Shows high customer orientation and a positive service attitude Accountable and well organized in order to meet challenging deadlines Ability to work in a multi-international matrix organization context
