Sales - Direct Access Clients

Description

The Cross Asset DAC Sales plays a pivotal role in managing and expanding Direct Access relationships with External Asset Managers (EAMs) and Wealth Management DAC within the Direct Access Clients segment. This position requires a combination of financial expertise, relationship management skills, and market knowledge to effectively execute trades and provide tailored investment solutions to meet the needs of EAM clients.

Main responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with External Asset Managers (EAMs) and Direct Access Clients to understand their investment objectives, risk tolerance, and products preferences. Act as the primary point of contact, providing proactive market insights, and trade execution services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Investment Advisory, Relationship Managers, Research, and Compliance to ensure alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements.

TRADE EXECUTION

  • Execute trades across various asset classes, including equites, foreign exchange, fixed income, derivatives, and structures products.
  • Monitor market developments, analyze trading opportunities, and implement trading strategies to optimize clients portfolios.
  • Ensure timely and accurate trade execution while adhering to risk management protocols and regulatory guidelines.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Identify opportunities to expand the client base and increase assets under management (AUM) within the DAC segment.
  • Participate in client prospecting activities presentations, and industry events to showcase the company's capabilities and attract new EAM clients.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop marketing materials, clients proposals, and presentations tailored to the needs of EAM clients.
  • Develop and maintain good relationship with Front Office.

PERFORMANCE MONITORING AND REPORTING

  • Track the performance of client portfolios, analyze investment results, and provide regular performance updates to Direct Access Clients.
  • In collaboration with Front Office prepare comprehensive portfolio reviews, investment reports, and performance attribution analysis to demonstrate value-added services and support client retention efforts.
  • Proactively address client inquiries, resolve any issues or concerns, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

    Education

    • Education: Bachelor Degree
    • Certification: Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree is preferred (MBA,CFA)

    Experience

    • Years of experience: +10 : senior
    • Experience required:
    • Proven experience in financial services, with a focus on trading, portfolio management, or relationship management within the wealth management or asset management industry.
    • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and trading strategies across multiple asset classes.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients and external partners.
    • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
    • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and best practices in wealth management.
    • Experience in private banking: Mandatory

    Language

    • German: Fluent
    • English: Fluent

    Personal skills

    • Swiss resident: Mandatory

  • Proactive attitude, self-motivated, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
