Tax and Documentation Specialist - Temporary 10 months


The Bank’s entire operations are managed by COO Division and are headed up by the Chief Operating Officer. It strives to provide both in-house and external clients with a first-rate service to ensure our business operates efficiently and at the best possible cost. The COO division comprises Operations, Finance, Information Management, Human Resources and Logistics. The Tax and Documentation Specialist is a key element to ensure the quality and accuracy of the US and CRS reporting done by the Bank, in an environment which is subject to constant changes and evolutions.


The employee’s mission also includes investigation and follow up on requests from internal/external auditors, authorities and Relationship managers.

Main responsibilities

  • Participate in the Data preparation and validation for reportings such as FATCA/CRS.
  • QI/FATCA/CRS Data quality control, Reconciliation and Reporting.
  • Manage the documentation and indicia Dashboard for the WM. Provide relevant support, monitoring and required IT improvements.
  • Answer inquiries in relation to withholding taxes including QI/FATCA and CRS.
  • Provide support to the front office about QI/FATCA and CRS.
  • Perform regular controls on transactions and codification in our systems to ensure that the tax is properly levied and reported.
  • Perform regular and ad-hoc reporting related to statistics and KPIs.
  • Monitoring and control of FATCA/CRS client documentation and change in circumstances.
  • Follow up on requests from internal/external auditors, authorities.

  • Education: Master Degree
  • Certification: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax (or equivalent)
  • Technical skills: Good knowledge with Excel, pivot table
  • IT Tools: Ms office


  • Years of experience: 7-10 : senior
  • Experience required: Minimum of 7 years Banking experience in Tax services
  • Experience in private banking: Preferred


  • French: Fluent
  • English: Fluent

Personal skills

  • Swiss resident: Mandatory

  • Good knowledge of the financial products and associated transactions
  • Knowledge of US and CRS reporting rules
  • 8-10 years of experience in Tax Operation team or equivalent
  • Strong analytical skills, able to make complex data reconciliation
  • Ability to efficiently manage priorities
  • Be able to work independently but also as a team
  • Seek opportunities to improve the existing set-up
  • Go beyond specific assignments, walk the extra mile
  • Consistently comply with internal & external regulations
  • Maintain quality standards despite schedule pressures
