Graduate Programme - Wealth Management - Europe & Mediterranean

As it plays such a major part in our strategy, we are investing significantly in Wealth Management to fuel our growth, particularly in Europe (onshore), the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Latin America and Asia. We provide a complete range of private banking products and services, including a variety of investment management and advisory mandates, tailored to our clients's specific requirements, objectives and risk profiles. This is a unique 12 months programme, based on a permanent contract, in our Europe & Mediterranean Market Team offering a recent graduate to acquire targeted professional skills and practical experience in the Wealth Management industry.


  • This specific programme contains various rotations in different teams in Geneva, all of them in high interaction with Wealth Management and allowing to build an extensive internal network of colleagues and experts.
  • Your training programme is offered with the option of obtaining a CWMA (Certified Wealth Management Advisor) or CFA certification.
  • This programme represents the ideal foundation for a successful career start in Wealth Management and includes the prospect of obtaining a permanent role within our Europe & Mediterranean Market Team at the end of the programme.

    Main responsibilities

    I.     Client Relationships and Marketing

    Working along and with the guidance of the relationship managers and experts in your team , e.g. Investment Advisors, Wealth Planning and Credit experts, you will be able to learn :

    • How to initiate, develop and cultivate relationships with clients
    • How to respond to clients’ and prospect’s needs with investments proposals
    • How to ensure that contractual documents and supporting paperwork are up-to-date and signed 
    • how to comply with the Bank’s internal directives, taking into account the client’s profile and the different types of transactions


    II.  Wealth Management Support

    You will closely work with the Wealth Management Support Team:

    • Follow up on and execute administrative tasks – account paperwork, transaction executions, discretionary management and advisory mandate processing, and client query responses
    • Ensure clients’ transactions/instructions/requests (stock market orders, transfers, tax report requests, product information, etc.) are executed/addressed correctly and swiftly
    • Provide administrative support to the relationship manager(s) by preparing visits and trips, filing client data and documents, and checking that clients’ investments are consistent with their risk profiles
    • Carry out first-level checks as per internal directives, where applicable, and escalate transactions or situations putting the Bank at risk, to the line manager


    III. Compliance with regulations and internal directives

    • Learn to know and strictly apply all internal directives and rules, banking laws and regulations, such as those regarding entering into business relations with clients, contacts/relations with clients (existing or prospective), anti-money-laundering, cross-border business, investment policies, investor protection, business travel
    • Participate to the Bank’s various compulsory training sessions

    You must be eligible to work in Switzerland. Please include in your CV your nationality/ies and / or your work permit when applicable.


    • Education: Bachelor Degree
    • Certification: Minimum Bachelor, preferably Master degree in finance, economics or related field
    • Technical skills: University degree recently obtained (before August 2024)
    • IT Tools: Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office environment


    • Years of experience: 0-3 : beginner
    • Experience required: Maximum 12 months’ professional experience
    • Experience in private banking: Optional


    • English: Fluent
    • French: Fluent
    • Other: (Greek, Turkish, Italian or any other language would be a plus)

    Personal skills

    • Swiss resident: Mandatory

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, can-do-attitude, a team player able to work under pressure
  • Curious, analytical and entrepreneurial spirit
