Union Bancaire Privée’s (UBP) Zurich office manages assets totalling some CHF 23 billion and is the Bank’s second-biggest site. The office proudly calls Bahnhofstrasse 1 its home and provides services to both private and institutional clients thanks to its having over 200 staff (as at 29 February 2016).
The UBP Zurich office manages a private banking discretionary and active advisory range, along with direct institutional mandates and structured products, as well as taking care of the emerging-market bonds and the associated funds.
UBP Asset Management provides institutional investors with solutions in increasingly challenging markets. Our focus is on creating new solutions for our clients as their investments need change, and on aiming to offer best-of-breed products that take a differentiated approach to traditional asset classes. Our actively-managed strategies are offered via collective products, tailored mandates or wholly-dedicated funds. Nicolas Faller, co-CEO of our Asset Management division, is based in Zurich, ensuring close interaction between our fourteen investment offices around the world.
Nicolas joined UBP in 2010 and has over 25 years’ experience in banking and finance. Over the years he has held various senior management positions, focusing on global distribution. Nicolas graduated from the University of Mulhouse in finance and accounting, and the Ecole Supérieure de Gestion.
