As a client, you can choose any one of our ten booking centres around the world, including Geneva, London, Monaco and Singapore.

Our private bankers have vast investment expertise and have been with UBP for an average of thirteen years. They serve a limited number of clients, allowing for a highly personalised relationship based on a long-term commitment.

We favour a responsive and flexible approach, as well as a quick decision-making process, which enables us to seize the best opportunities for our clients. Our integrated business model favours close integration of Private Banking with our Asset Management division, providing our private clients with access to market-leading advice.

Our core areas of expertise (which may not be available to all of our clients, depending on their country of residence and investor status) are:

  • Traditional, long-only funds with a special focus on emerging market debt, emerging market equities, convertibles, global fixed income, as well as Swiss and European equities;
  • Alternative Investments: we have been using hedge funds in client portfolios since 1972 which has given us significant experience in Hedge Fund Selection & Advisory;
  • Equity Research: our analysts’ stock-picking has outperformed global equity indices each calendar year since we began performance measurement at the end of 2005;
  • External fund managers: we have decades of proof of the value of selecting external managers. We promote the core idea of refining what we do best in house and work with highly valuable external managers when we do not have the necessary in-house expertise.
