Bereits seit den frühen 1990er Jahren unterhält die Bank Vertretungen in Singapur und Hongkong, die den asiatischen Hauptsitz im Private Banking beziehungsweise im Asset Management bilden.
Die UBP stellt die Erbringung eines flexiblen und auf die persönlichen Kundenbedürfnisse abgestimmten Service ins Zentrum. In Singapur verfügt sie über eine unter dem Singapore Securities and Futures Act eingetragene Lizenz für die Erbringung von Dienstleistungen am Kapitalmarkt, in Hongkong über eine Lizenz für den Handel mit Wertschriften und Vermögenswerten. Damit kann sie High Net Worth Individuals und institutionellen Kunden im asiatischen Raum Fondsmanagement- und Finanzberatungsdienste bieten.
