Kier Boley trat im April 2020 in die Bank ein und übernahm den Posten als Co-Head und CIO von UBP Alternative Investment Solutions.
Zuvor leitete er während 20 Jahren die Abteilung alternative Investments bei GAM AG, wo er zwei Geschäftsleitungsfunktionen innehatte. Erstens war er als Head of Alternative Investments auf Gruppenebene für die Verwaltung von diskretionären Mandaten für Institutionen und UHNW Family Offices und ein Team von 11 Investitionsspezialisten zuständig. Zweitens war er ab 2018 für die Führung des Teams Private Clients & Charities verantwortlich, das Multi-Asset-Produkte für Kunden in der EU und Asien entwickelt. Davor war er von 1994 bis 2000 Investment Director bei der City of London Investment Group in London und verwaltete Mandate in Schwellenländer-Aktien.
Kier hat sowohl einen Bachelor als auch einen Master in Wirtschaft und ist ein Mitglied der britischen CFA-Society .
