Before joining UBP, Thierry Garde had been CEO of Société Générale Private Banking in Monaco since 2013. He has over thirty years of experience with the Société Générale group, where he held several positions in France and around the world, including in Moscow, Warsaw, New York, London and Brussels, in both investment and private banking. Thierry Garde is also Vice-President of the Monaco Association for Financial Activities (AMAF), in charge of the Social Affairs Commission, a role that he will retain alongside his work as Site Manager of UBP Monaco.
Our Monaco branch, which employs 46 staff to date, has become a major player in the principality’s financial sector, having strengthened its position with the acquisition of the Coutts International business in 2015
