In early June our Monaco office hosted a private viewing for some clients of a selection of the renowned photographer David Yarrow’s most iconic works, with the artist himself present.
The pictures have been on display since January and will remain until the end of the year. David took the opportunity of the event to make an exclusive presentation of his latest limited edition outsized photo monograph.
David Yarrow was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1966. He took up photography at an early age and as a 20-year-old found himself working as a photographer for The Times newspaper on the pitch at the World Cup Final in Mexico City. On that day, David took the famous picture of Diego Maradona holding the World Cup and, as a result, was subsequently asked to cover the Olympics and numerous other sporting events.
Since coming back to photography after a successful intermediate career in investment banking, David has created a number of widely acclaimed wildlife pictures. Today he is recognised as one of the world’s best-selling photographers combining nature, animals, and people. His distinctive work has earned him an ever-growing following amongst art collectors.
The private viewing reception, featuring a selection from David’s Natural World and Storytelling collections, was very well received with the sixty-odd guests genuinely moved by the images, which are striking in any format but were especially powerful as original, full-sized photographs.
UBP is delighted to be able to organise such exclusive experiences for its clients and is proud to house the inspiring creations of an artist with whom we have many values in common.
“As well as being agreeable, generous with his time, and so talented, David is very knowledgeable in many areas, including banking, which made him an ideal host for a client event.”
