Every year we take ten graduates into our sought-after Graduate Programme in different locations in the Group across Europe and Asia. In September, UBP was pleased to welcome a new cohort of young talents freshly graduated from university, and to congratulate last year’s intake on the completion of their one-year induction cycle and celebrate their assignment to a fixed role.

Today sees the publication of UBP’s fifth annual Sustainability Report. It covers our strategy, progress and achievements in terms of both our investments and our own operations, and also outlines our next steps.

UBP made a strong debut in the Switzerland-wide Bike to Work Challenge this May. Over 110 colleagues pedalled with determination, collectively covering more than 26,000 kilometres.

For the younger generation, private banking is no longer necessarily as attractive a business sector as it was for their predecessors. Nonetheless, these institutions’ recruitment needs remain high, and attracting young talent is becoming an increasingly important issue for them.
