Arfat Qayyum

Arfat Qayyum joined UBP in 2025 as Senior Executive Officer of its Dubai office. He is responsible for driving UBP’s growth ambitions across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, with a focus on addressing the sophisticated and bespoke needs of UHNWIs, institutional clients, and family offices.

With over 20 years of experience in financial services, Arfat has held senior leadership roles across the Middle East and North America. Prior to joining UBP, he was CEO of Credit Suisse’s Qatar subsidiary and previously held the position of Head of Private Banking and Wealth Management at Al Khalij Commercial Bank, where he oversaw operations in both Qatar and the UAE.

Arfat holds an MBA degree from The Richard Ivey School of Business (UWO) in Canada.
