Description

Led by the CIO Group, the Investment Management department is structured into two main sub-branches. The first focuses on investment services dedicated to the Wealth Management, including discretionary portfolio management, analysis and research on the different asset classes, innovative financial product design like structured products and macro research. The second sub-branch is dedicated to fund managers, who actively manage the UBP Asset Management franchises.


Mission

Support business initiatives for the Investment Management department and help coordinate its diverse business lines in close collaboration with the COO Investment Management. Oversee financial analysis, reporting, and daily operations of the CIO Office.


Main responsibilities

Support the COO Investment Management in daily management:

  • Key member of the CIO Office. 
  • Assist the COO in prioritizing tasks and managing daily operations. Facilitate effective communication across departments to ensure smooth workflow and address potential challenges proactively.
  • Active contribution to the continuous optimization of business processes.

Manage UBP and Investment Management financial figures: 

  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of complex financial datasets. This involves integrating data from multiple sources, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and preparing detailed financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Analysis of financial and accounting activities of Investment Management (conduct complex business analyses and reporting).

Effective Oversight of Risk and Compliance Management: 

  • Implement strategies to balance financial and operational risk while supporting business agility. 
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate risk control measures to ensure comprehensive oversight without hindering innovation.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance regulations to maintain efficient processes.
  • Regularly review and update policies to align with evolving regulatory requirements.

Coordinate Market Data Requests and Budget:

  • Align market data needs with budget constraints, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Prioritize and manage multiple requests while maintaining clear communication with relevant departments.


Education

  • Education: Master Degree

Experience

  • Years of experience: 3-7 : intermediate
  • Experience required: • Experience in banking organization, financial instruments, controlling; • Project management skills; • Very thorough working method; • Very good in excel • University degree; • Previous experience of minimum 3 years in a Bank; • Excellent communication skills with the flexibility to interact on all different seniority levels; • Structured, independent and pragmatic way of working; • Reliable, flexible and team oriented; • Excellent management of priorities; • Stress resistant; • Fluent in English, French is an added value.
