In June, UBP once again participated in the Switzerland-wide Bike to Work challenge. Split into 23 teams, 88 participants pedalled with enthusiasm, collectively covering 18,500 kilometres.  

To fund its sailing adventures for youngsters recovering from cancer, Léman Hope runs the corporate challenge Swim4Lemanhope where volunteers swim in relay to raise awareness and money. UBP participated again this summer, both in Lake Geneva and in Lake Zurich.

We have just published our 2025 Sustainability Report, which gives a clear view of our sustainability vision and approach, a detailed description of our progress, and a glimpse of what lies ahead for us.

Over 2,000 participants joined Switzerland’s largest sustainable finance gathering, which was held in Geneva from 30 September to 2 October. UBP was proud to continue its long-standing support as a silver sponsor of this event.

Colleagues from our Jersey and Zurich branches recently came together to make a meaningful impact on local ecosystems through inspiring CSR volunteering initiatives.

Despite complex geopolitical developments and macroeconomic uncertainty, sustainability-related investments in Switzerland totalled CHF 1,881 billion at the end of 2024 according to the Swiss Sustainable Investments Market Study 2025 – an impressive 13% increase from the previous year.

Today sees the publication of UBP’s fifth annual Sustainability Report. It covers our strategy, progress and achievements in terms of both our investments and our own operations, and also outlines our next steps.

UBP made a strong debut in the Switzerland-wide Bike to Work Challenge this May. Over 110 colleagues pedalled with determination, collectively covering more than 26,000 kilometres.

As part of UBP’s Corporate, Social and Responsibility (CSR) activities, Geneva colleagues were recently offered the opportunity to volunteer for a local soup kitchen.
