Sérène El Masri was appointed CEO of UBP Monaco in April 2019, having previously managed the Bank’s wealth management activities for Monaco, Luxembourg and French-speaking markets from the Geneva office. She has over 20 years’ experience in private banking.

Before joining UBP in 2017, she was Head of the Middle East & Africa market for Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, and also of Deutsche Bank (Switzerland) SA, Geneva. From 1999 to 2011, she worked for BNP Paribas Wealth Management in the Gulf states and Switzerland, notably as Head of the Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWI) segment in the EMEA region, as well as CEO Wealth Management for Middle East and North Africa.

A lawyer by training, Sérène El Masri graduated from the Sorbonne University in Paris in 1998.
