Gaetan Aversano is Deputy Head of Private Markets at Union Bancaire Privée (UBP). The team, founded in 2015, offers institutional clients, qualified investors and professional clients access to a comprehensive range of investment solutions in private markets. This offering includes top-quartile private market funds (both closed-end and evergreen funds), direct investments, in-house funds and bespoke mandates across all private market asset classes (private equity, private debt, real estate and infrastructure). The team operates out of Geneva, Zurich, London, Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai.

Prior to joining UBP in 2016, Gaetan worked in the investment team of a healthcare private debt firm. Gaetan began his professional career in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division, taking responsibility for cross-border sell-side and buy-side M&A and IPO in the Swiss and Benelux markets.

Gaetan earned a master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of St. Gallen, a master’s degree in Management from HEC Paris, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen.
