Description

The Bank’s entire operations are managed by COO Division and are headed up by the Chief Operating Officer. It strives to provide both in-house and external clients with a first-rate service to ensure our business operates efficiently and at the best possible cost. The COO division comprises Operations, Finance, Information Management, Human Resources and Logistics. Mission

Leading the team Quality & Business Implementation which is primarily in charge of providing an oversight of Investment Operations daily activities in order to monitor risks and the overall level of quality.


Main responsibilities

Main duties as a Team Leader : 

  •       Allocate tasks, set priorities & objectives, identify and solve issues

  •       Monitor quality of the service to ensure successful delivery and report to the top management, KPIs, KRIs

  •       Maintain cost-effective and robust processes & controls

  •       Management relationship with third parties (custodians, clearers, fund administrators, brokers, service providers)

  •       Drive continuous improvement and automation activities to reduce risk and enhance efficiency

Team Responsibilities

  • Client operational onboarding, new mandates, funds, dedicated funds
  • Lead projects for new business process implementations, new products, new markets…
  • Identify the high risk activities and make sure relevant controls are in place to mitigate the operational risk
  • Perform 2nd level controls and independent controls on Middle Office and securities master file activities
  • Monitor and keep up to date the “Projects” tool
  • Monitor and keep up to date “Issue Log” tool, define and follow up of action plan with team leaders
  • Produce KPIs & KRIs
  • Participation in the implementation of new procedures, projects and controls. Ensure all processes are covered by an operational procedure (process, risk, control, indicator)
  • Liaison with all the departments of the bank (Operations, fund desk, corporate action team, Data management team, IT,…) and with external third parties
  • Always available to respond to our client queries, our main clients are portfolio management teams, risk management, client reporting and performance teams

    Education

    • Education: Master Degree
    • Certification: Economic or mathematical education

    Experience

    • Years of experience: 7-10 : senior
    • Experience required: - Good knowledge of the financial instruments, especially derivatives, OTC clearing - Project management - Risk management - Regulatory and compliance knowledge - Perfect knowledge of the operating model
    • Experience in private banking: Mandatory
