Description

You will join the Business Risk Management team which plays a key role as the Wealth Management first line of defense. The Business Risk Managers are the main internal referent on the following subjects: AML, CFT, Sanctions, Risk Appetite and KYT/KYC subjects.


Mission

By joining our dynamic BRM team you will collaborate with Relationship Managers, Compliance, and Client Documentation teams to ensure regulatory standards are met. Our primary focus are client file due diligence reviews and transaction monitoring.


Main responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough periodic client reviews on AML, KYC, KYT, and adverse news screening to mitigate risks in client files.
  • Ensure documentary accuracy and completeness of corroboration according to the Bank’s qualitative risk appetite and standards.
  • Escalate any deviations from the Bank’s standards to relevant management, control functions, and committees.
  • Enhance risk awareness within WM Markets by keeping RMs and Team-leaders informed about internal directives, regulatory requirements, and new practices, especially concerning AML, CDB, and Sanctions and act as a partner to the front on due diligence.
  • Review transaction alerts and ensure timely handling and escalation with Front teams.
  • Act as an intermediary between Compliance and WM markets on AML, CDB, Sanctions, Risk Appetite and KYC/KYT subjects.
  • Propose solutions to improve process quality and effectiveness.

Personal skills

Experienced Compliance/AML analyst with expertise in client due diligence reviews and/or remediation. Knowledgeable in private banking, particularly with complex structures. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently. Skilled in collaborating with multiple stakeholders to find effective solutions. Be part of a team that values innovation and change-oriented approaches. Work in a collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth. Contribute to maintaining high standards of risk management and compliance.


Education

  • Education: Bachelor Degree
  • Certification: Law / Economics / Finance

Experience

  • Years of experience: 3-7 : intermediate
  • Experience required: At least 2 years experience in due diligence review in Private Banking.
  • Experience in private banking: Mandatory
