UBP Portugal

Union Bancaire Privée (Europe) S.A. – Sucursal em Portugal (“UBP Lisbon”), a branch of the Luxembourg subsidiary of Union Bancaire Privée, UBP SA (“UBP”) in Geneva, is located in the heart of Lisbon. It began commercial operations in January 2024 with the aim of offering its clients a more convenient, local service, and to provide immediate support for each client’s individual needs, along with local investment consultancy services.

In addition to UBP Luxembourg’s best-in-class and tailored services for HNWIs, clients of UBP Lisbon will have access to our local team, who are dedicated to providing investment consultancy and wealth management services. The complementarity of our range of global investment opportunities, backed by our UBP Group specialists and professionals, along with a local footprint, are fundamental and differentiating factors in the services we offer.

As part of UBP Luxembourg’s strategy to expand within the European Union, the Bank chose Portugal for its latest opening in 2023, with the aim of creating a footprint and growing its presence in the region.

The Management Team

Luis Cabral and Marcos Milhazes, UBP Lisbon branch managers, both have over 28 years of experience in the private banking sector in Portugal and beyond, having previously worked in prestigious banks around the world.

They are supported by a team of highly qualified, dedicated and solution-orientated professionals, including relationship managers, wealth planners and investment specialists, as well as compliance and support staff.
