Monica Espinosa serves as the Head of UBP Family Office Services, leading and expanding family office services since January 2022.
Monica is a seasoned financial services executive with over two decades of experience in the banking and wealth management industry. Before her current role, she held various leadership positions at UBP, which she joined in 2013, including overseeing the EAM market for Switzerland and international clients, and leading transformation initiatives. Before that she was at HSBC Private Bank, where she ran the External Asset Managers service for Switzerland. Monica's career began at Citigroup Private Bank, managing relationships for the Spanish market.
She holds a bachelor’s in Political & Social Sciences from the University of Geneva and also completed a graduate program at Citibank Geneva. Additionally, she holds the Certified Family Wealth Advisor (CFWA) and Certified Family Business Advisor (CFBA) dual certifications from the Family Firm Institute (FFI).
