Filippo Taddei joined UBP in 2021 as Head Mediterranean (Israel, Greece and Turkey) and is based in Zurich with a mission to further grow this important market. In 2025, he was appointed as Site Manager of the Basel branch whith focus mainly on clients from the Netherlands.
Previously, he spent 4½ years as Partner and Head of the Zurich branch of 1875 Finance Ltd., which is one of the largest external wealth managers and multi-family offices in Switzerland. Before that he worked in private banking for Bank Julius Baer in Zurich for almost 12 years as Managing Director and Member of the Executive Committee Switzerland.
Filippo Taddei is a Swiss attorney-at-law and holds a doctorate in law. He studied at the universities in Basel, Fribourg and New York (NYU).
