Description

As a part of the Investment Solutions Unit of Union Bancaire Privée (Europe) S.A, the Discretionary Portfolio Management team is crucial for delivering optimized portfolios and achieving financial goals on behalf of clients.


Mission

The Portfolio Manager is in charge of managing and monitoring bespoke mandates, certificates as well as standard solutions when required. S/he will also be responsible for the promotion of discretionary offering towards internal and external clients.


Main responsibilities

Mission & Main duties

  • Actively manage bespoke discretionary portfolios.

  • Drive sales activities related to Discretionary Portfolio Management and support the Bank to reach its commercial targets.

  • Participation to internal/external client meetings to promote the offer and/or review existing portfolio performance.

  • Prepare portfolio management reports, investment proposals and presentations for clients.

  • Participation to regular meetings and presentations to Relationship Managers (team meeting & one-to-one).

  • Flawless implementation of tactical asset allocation changes and decisions taken by our Global Investment Committee within the given time frames.

  • Follow and/or help to maintain DPM operating procedures which include relevant controls to meet UBP and local policy requirements.

Education

  • Education: Bachelor Degree
  • Certification: Market Finance
  • IT Tools: Good knowledge of usual IT tools (Windows including VBA, Bloomberg)

Experience

  • Years of experience: 7-10 : senior
  • Experience required: Broad understanding of financial markets and portfolio management across multiple asset classes. Excellent communication and client interaction skills with the ability to express complex ideas in a clear, concise and comprehensive manner
  • Experience in private banking: Mandatory

Language

  • English: Fluent
  • Other: Fluent (Any Scandinavian language is an advantage.)
