Mission

Students, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2021 from universities in or outside Hong Kong and who are Hong Kong residents lawfully employable in Hong Kong, are welcome to apply. Open application starts on 1 May 2021

Challenges

The 6-month program offers insights into the private banking sector and includes training, networking opportunities and exposure to UBP wealth management professionals across businesses. 

Main responsabilities

Responsibilities

Build a data repository to enhance data analysis and queries. 

Assist the team in preparing management reports so as to provide a comprehensive view of the business revenues, costs, net profits and other growth indicators and strategic metrics .

Assist the team in preparing some of the regulatory reporting and surveys by retrieving the necessary data and information to compile the returns, as well as carry out a series of controls logic and sanitary checks so as to ensure accuracy and robustness.

 

Learning outcomes :

By assisting our teams in preparing both the management and regulatory reports, the candidate will have an exhaustive  and comprehensive view of the private banking business.

In order for the candidate to be efficient in analyzing the data and preparing the reports, the Bank will provide the necessary trainings so that the candidate can acquire the right level of knowledge and understand the background and objectives of the reports.

Education

  • Education: Bachelor Degree
  • Technical skills: • Excellent in Data Analytics . • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, Macro and VBA and SQ

Experience

  • Years of experience: 0-3 : beginner
  • Experience in private banking: Optional

Language

  • English: Fluent
  • Other: Fluent (Cantonese and or Mandarin)

Personal skills

  • Swiss resident: N/A

Excel at data analytics. Have an excellent knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, Macro and VBA and SQL. Be highly organised, accurate and methodical.
