IT Business Analyst - External Consultant - Singapore


Group COO is a vast and key division of the Bank, headed up by the group Chief Operating Officer, covering several departments supporting the client facing teams. It strives to provide both in-house and external clients with a first-rate service to ensure our business operates efficiently and reliably. The division comprises Operations, Finance, Credit Structuring and Administration, Information Technology, Human Resources, General Services (real estate, travel and logistics), Security and Data Governance as well as Change Management & Controls. All department heads report into the group COO.


The role will be responsible to coordinate execution and perform business analysis of a portfolio of projects for UBP Asia entities.


Diverse topics involving multiple stakeholders in all domains of the bank. Daily interactions with a vendor in charge of execution.

Main responsibilities

The role will partner with the business and IT stakeholders, including an external vendor, across a wide and diverse agenda of projects to:

- Ensure stakeholders and sponsors involvement and commitment
- Define clear scope and requirements, manage scope change
- Manage project risks and conflicts, oversee the budgeting process and control project spend
- Plan and manage IT resources
- Implement the technical solution respecting the bank’s software lifecycle, in partnership with the main software vendor in charge of the delivery
- Participate to testing and gather sign off from customers
- Publish project reporting, build and maintain KPIs and KRIs
- Collect and formulate lessons learned among all stakeholders, ensure application for next projects


  • Education: Engineer


  • Years of experience: 7-10 : senior
  • Experience required: Experience in Financial sector is mandatory, with a focus on Wealth Management industry Familiarity with Asia regulatory environment (e.g. suitability) Knowledge of Portfolio Management, Advisory and CRM Software vendor management Business analysis, requirements/ functional specifications At ease with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Experience in private banking: Mandatory


  • English: Fluent
  • French: Fluent

Personal skills

  • Swiss resident: Optional
