Operations and Tax Manager

Responsible for system trade input and/or trade verification
Supporting the delivery of various projects within the business to assist with the delivery of UBP Jersey Branch strategic goals and business growth. These may include projects in connection with business process enhancements, system enhancements and corporate governance
Responsible for reviewing the tax reporting for clients and the relevant tax submissions (CRS, FATCA, QI) for the Branch. This will include plausibility checks of clients’ self certs and W8/W9 and any double taxation requests.
Responsible for the review, sign off and upload of the Branches tax submissions and QI status requirements.

Act as a back-up of the other members of the team
PC literate (MS Word, Excel and Access)
Years of experience:
3-7 : intermediate
Hands on experience of tax reporting and trade input
Experience in private banking:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good organisation skills and being able to work to deadlines
Ability to work independently and on occasion under pressure to analyse information, research possible options and pro-vide logical recommendations
Good interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
