Emerging-market debt

Debt in emerging countries is mainly issued by governments, sovereign bodies or corporations. By investing in emerging markets, investors can capture their superior growth, booming domestic consumption markets and favourable demographic profiles.

Emerging-country debt tends to generate greater returns, as the risk is considered to be higher.
