UBP sponsors the ballet gala “Ave Maya

UBP was proud to sponsor the ballet gala “Ave Maya”, which took place on 6 March at the Coliseum Theatre (English National Opera) in London.

The gala celebrated the life and work of legendary Russian ballerina Maya Plisetskaya, widely regarded as one of the greatest ballerinas of the 20th century and the embodiment of the Bolshoi Theatre for decades.

The gala, under the artistic direction of Andris Liepa, featured world-renowned dancers performing Maya Plisetskaya’s favourite roles, including choreographies that were originally created for her, such as the one to Ravel’s Boléro by Maurice Béjart and the Carmen Suite by Alberto Alonso.
