Challenges

Provide support as required to the HR Manager for Zurich and Basel branches to ensure the efficient operation of all HR administrative activities

Main responsabilities

Main tasks

- Completion of the entire personnel administration for entry, exit and transfer, anniversaries, marriage, birth as well as preparation of interim and final certificates

- Completion of the personnel mutations in the personnel information system (Oracle)

- Coordination of the pre-employment screening process

- Contact person for all working time related queries

- Assistance with recruiting administration (pre-selection, applicant management, etc.) in collaboration with HR managers and line managers, correspondence with candidates and scheduling coordination, and maintenance of Taleo, the inhouse recruiting tool

- Coordination with HR colleagues in Geneva regarding Salary Administration, Pension Fund and Insurance and close collaboration with Human Resources in Geneva in general

- Ensuring monthly payroll runs are correct and on time

- Organization of events

- Maintaining an overview of dates of contractual commitments and events, and executing the appropriate measures accordingly

- Various administrative activities / scanning / archiving

Requirements

- Completed commercial apprenticeship with HR-specific advanced training (HR assistant, specialist)

- Experience in a similar role and familiar with the banking environment

- Very good language skills: spoken and written in German and English, French knowledge of advantage

- Good IT user knowledge

Education

  • Education: CFC

Experience

  • Years of experience: 3-7 : intermediate
  • Experience in private banking: Mandatory

Language

  • English: Advanced
  • German: Fluent
  • French: Intermediate

Personal skills

  • Swiss resident: Mandatory

- High level of independence, sense of responsibility, reliability and an efficient and accurate way of working - Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities - Pleasant personality, team-oriented, open, uncomplicated, flexible, polite, discreet
